On the 10th day of December, 1960 at the Boston Naval Shipyard in Boston, Massachusetts, the 370 officers and crew manned and brought the Farragut to life. These web pages of the USS Farragut Shipmates site are devoted to the remembrance of those shipmates and their skills that brought this modern Navy warship into the fleet to serve and defend the United States of America.
